Discovery Law and New Jersey Legal Copy & Imaging Lead 20 Million Page Document Management Project
Bureau Alliance Network

Emerging leader in the US wholesale litigation support services market announces completion of a document collection and imaging project with 9,500 boxes of documents from 32 U.S. cities.

Houston, Texas December 19, 2006 – Discovery Law, an emerging leader in the US wholesale litigation support services market, today announced the details of a massive document management project for a multinational subsidiary of a Fortune 100 company that provides electronic medical transcription, health information and document management products and services, that it completed in partnership with New Jersey Legal Copy & Imaging (NJLC) and with support from members of its National Litigation Support Service Bureau Alliance.

The six (6) month project supported production for this well known multinational transcription organization and its Am Law 100 law firm requiring Discovery Law and NJLC to coordinate document processing in 32 different U.S. cities including over 20 million pages of corporate records, working files, accounting files, billing records, medical records, payroll records, vendor contracts, correspondence, bank statements, checks, customer service records, contract employment agreements and internal memos.

“We are very proud of the performance of our national alliance members and especially proud of the performance of NJLC in coordinating this project,” stated Clint Lehew, Managing Partner of Discovery Law. “It is highly unlikely that the client could have found another single source vendor with the professional resources and local processing capacity to manage this project across 32 different cities. As such, it was a win for everyone as it also provided a tremendous opportunity for Discovery Law to showcase the capabilities of its national litigation service bureau alliance”, added Mr. Lehew.

Discovery Law states that logistics, pickup, delivery and processing for the project was handled by NJLC and included assisting with document collection in 32 locations across the country, scanning all documents as single page Group IV TIF, uniquely naming the documents based on location and custodian, regular progress reporting to the client and delivery of the data to the client’s law firm for review purposes.

”The amount of documents and the number of different cities involved in this project was impressive,” states Gary Overman, President of NJLC. “Along with the support of Discovery Law’s National Litigation Support Service Bureau Alliance members, we were able to provide a seamless and integrated solution for the client,” added Mr. Overman.
